Summer Mini-U Promotional Video

When the senior citizens became college students.. 

The Institute of Active Ageing(IAA) is an organisation funded by PolyU. It dedicated to providing diverse activities and experiences for the senior citizens in Hong Kong in order to encourage them to stay active and positive. 

Being one of the most highlighted events of the year, the Summer Mini-U is a 2-week program for the IAA members to study in college, experience "hall life" and eventually attend their first ever - graduation ceremony. 

As a videographer, I was asked to produce a promotional video for the program. Therefore, I sneaked into their classes for 2 weeks and recorded every moments they had during classes. With limited equipments and resources, the promotional video had a far way for improvement. However, the most valuable things that I got from this job were the energetic momentum of the IAA members and their enthusiasm of learning.  That group of senior citizens had completely change my way of perceiving what an elderly should be in Hong Kong.
